BMI Celebrates 2021 Hispanic Heritage Month
Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with several online events and other goodies. There are artists’ interviews, panels, and a Spotify playlist that you can check out!
As you may know, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated yearly between September 15 and October 15. It’s great to see music companies like BMI supporting this Hispanic event!

BMI is pleased to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with ongoing initiatives across its digital and social platforms to recognize and honor the history, culture, and rich contributions Latinos have brought to music, our communities, and beyond. To kick off the celebration, Mexican American singer/songwriter Nancy Sanchez speaks on how her roots and culture inspire her music on BMI’s Know Them Now.
Additionally, an exclusive interview with Latin GRAMMY award-winning producers Andrés Torres and Edgar Barrera will air this month, as part of BMI’s Música y Más: Producers Edition, where they discuss coming up in the industry, their big break and advice for emerging songwriters and producers.
Keep an eye out for special interviews by Cuban singer/songwriter Aymée Nuviola and Mexican singer/songwriter Mario Quintero on BMI.com.
