Maná and Shakira Slowly Rock “Mi Verdad”

Mexican Rock-Pop band Maná and Colombian Latin music super star Shakira hit it out of the park with their duet in “Mi Verdad”. The official video is included below.

For “Mi Verdad”, Maná used the same formula they used in their duet with Dominican Latin music star Juan Luis Guerra. As in their duet  “Bendita Tu Luz” (included in the album “Amar es Combatir – 2006), Maná returns with a slow rock-pop in their new single “Mi Verdad”. Here Fher’s voice sounds refreshed and Shakira shows her pregnant belly in the official video.

“Mi Verdad” debuted at the #1 spot in Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs. It  bumped out Enrique Iglesias “Bailando”, and in the way, became the only artist to debut 3 songs at the #1 spot on the list. This is not surprising with the super star duet with Shakira. It also features the soft pop-rock that has proven a fan favorite.
